At Kennesaw Club Barbell, we are committed to helping you reach your fitness goals. Whether you are interested in Powerlifting, Bodybuilding, Strongman, Olympic, CrossFit, or just recreational lifting, we have the resources to help you succeed. Our club provides financial support for meets, access to top-of-the-line equipment, and a world-champion club coach who is always willing to answer your questions. But beyond just the physical resources, we believe that building a community of like-minded lifters is essential to achieving your goals. Our club is a place where you can connect with others who share your passion for lifting, and together, we can support each other on our journey to success. No matter what your goals are, we are here to help you achieve them.
Allow us to introduce our dedicated club coach, Mitch Zaplatosch, a multifaceted professor at KSU whose expertise spans far beyond the confines of Powerlifting. With a PhD in Exercise Physiology, we can rely on him to give us educated answers and information about fitness. Coach Mitch not only powerlifts, but also has a background in long-distance running, adding a dynamic layer to his background.
For nearly a decade, Coach Mitch has competed in over 10 meets, amassing over 440 dots and leaving a mark on countless meets. Yet, his influence extends well beyond the podium. As a fixture in our practices, Mitch imparts invaluable insights on form, nutrition, and overall fitness. With a comprehensive understanding of the body to a molecular level, he's a trusted resource for every member of our club.
At meets, Coach Mitch's role transcends mere coaching; he is there to help handle competitions and will pay attention to your training at practice to ensure a great competition. He provides unwavering support to our team that doesn't go unnoticed. With Professor Zaplatosch as our coach, we're not just athletes, but educated and motivated athletes at that.
